This is a very simple but complete 2D game application developed using Visual Basic 6. It have total 3 screen. 1) Start, 2) Options and 3) The Game. I have used Visual Basic 6 for development of this application and develop without using any 3rd party controls or components. Main compnents used are following 1) Timer Control, 2) Picture Control, 3) Label Control and 4) Windows Media ocx (But its not used in this version so code is commented).

You can create various multimedia applications in VB that couold play audio CD, audiofiles, VCD , video files and etc.

In VB, graphics capabilities are usually associated with drawing lines, boxes, or otherwise manipulating the display. Graphics are usually created on something, which in the case of VB is either the printer, the screen, or the picture control. All three represent a surface to which graphics can be applied. No other control supplied with VB supports the graphics features.

Now, with some modifications, we will transform the audio player into a picture viewer.

In lesson 16, we have created an audio player. Now, with some modifications, we will transform the audio player into a multimedia player that could play all kinds of movie files besides audio files. This player will be created in such a way that it could search for all types of graphics your drives and play them.

In previous lesson, we have programmed a CD player. Now, with some modifications, we will transform the CD player into an audio file player. This player will be created in such a way that it could search for wave and midi files in your drives and play them.
