Dreamweaver is the first HTML editor i have seen that can sort the content of Tables both alphabetically and numerically. Before this function existed, if you wanted to sort a Table you had to copy and paste each row or column manually. thankfully, sorting Table content in Dreamweaver is only a simple dialog box away.

This tutorial will focus on some of the basic table formatting skills you will need in Dreamweaver. It will also alert you to some of the common problems relating to emtpy table cells. You see, even if a table cell is empty you've got to put something in it to hold the Table formatting. That "something" can be a single pixel transparent GIF or simply a little bit of HTML code. We'll take a look at how to work with that in a few moments, first lets take a look at how we can change the border of our table.
